Kentucky!

So here I am, back in Kain-tuck, and life here is like usual: real fuckin' dull. Went by Snitch today, which was at least entertaining. That was about all i did, tho', since I got up at 1:30 and didn't do anything until about 3 p.m. Tonight, it's playin' cards, then a bunch of thanksgiving dinners tomorrow. Yippee.
On another note, one would think two jobs would keep someone occupied. But nyet, instead he makes silly videos and puts long, dumb lists on his blog. It is you, dear sir, who needs a life — not the people requesting your picture. And on that topic: I already have what you referred to as the "best" picture ever taken of you. Altho' I think you look better in your glasses. But whatev.
Okay. I'm done now. Pce.

Boris Pasternak: Winter Night:
The blizzards covered up the earth
And roamed uncurbed.
The candle burned upon the desk
The candle burned.

As in the summer, moths are drawn
Towards the flame,
The pale snowflakes flown
Unto the pane.

Clairification

Anything titled with in italics is a work of fiction. They weren't necessarially written at the time posted, either. And do you actually think I would post damning evidence on my weblog that my boyfriend reads? However, to (hopefully) save myself additional annoyances, I'm removing the work in question. For future reference: either keep it to yourself, talk to me yourself, or fuck off. Thanks and have a nice day.

On Howard Dean: "'I find many people, including some who don't support him, who very much like his manner, his forcefulness,' said Julian Bond, the chairman of the N.A.A.C.P. 'The rolled-up sleeves, the passion, the attack. Black people, they want somebody who can trash Bush.'"

Nothing I like better than free Starbucks coffee. Especially when it's an eggnog latte. I realized I'm quite spoiled when I found out the nearest Starbucks was .34 miles away, but it was just too far. (Hey, it's raining, and I'd have to go across the bridge.)

Trips are indeed for kids. And just like the sugar in Trix is bad for kids, so are trips.

Just what I need: another hole in my body

My next piercing. Smaller gauge ring and smaller diameter. Drop me a line and tell me what you think — before I go get it done.

What do you mean? This is what you're getting? Or this is what you wish
you were getting. Did you tell them you are an Afgan refugee or something?
Or a fat black jewish lesbian? (the ultimate minority)

2007 campaign

Libertarian takes Kenutucky's governor's seat ... Thanks for the laugh, Catallaxy, and I apologize to everyone who doesn't know who we're talking about.
Oh, and O-Brown — I'll be home in November and December/January if you want company. I'm trustworthy, right? Well, I'm cute when I'm drunk, at least.

Egads!

Scroll down, peer at the second picture on the right, look at the newspaper in the man's hand ... oh, what is it? It's a copy of SNITCH, of course.

Poyneter Online: "Face it, newsrooms need young journalists"

Whether we're there to offer a youthful perspective on the news, to go all out on a story or, frankly, as cheap labor, many of the nation's newsrooms thrive on the work of young journalists. We have energy, passion, and commitment.
Young people have always existed in newsrooms, both large and small. There are countless people who have excelled long before they hit 40. Many of the industry's leaders were sold on this business before they could buy alcohol.
