An update.
Well, we're pretty much moved in. If you want to stop by, feel free. The house is mostly painted and Dyl's at home refinishing the table today. Good times.
I am just so happy I don't know what to do with myself. I just lean back and contemplate how wonderful my life is.
The new job is okay; it has ups and downs like any job. I hate having a forced schedule, but apparently that's how a lot of things in the real world work. The people and my assignments are mostly okay, however, and I'll be getting to do more cool stuff in the near future. It reminds me a lot of STLP in high school.
I leave SDF for Seattle Monday morning. My flight to Chicago leaves at 7:30 a.m., then I go to Seattle from there. I think it's going to be a lot of fun, even tho' I'm going to whine a lot about being so far away from my family.
Stuff is getting hammered down for the wedding ... We dropped off the deposit for the Water Tower today; now I just need to get Mal to take a pic of Dyl and me and to get Dyl to finish/start his part of the guest list. Then the invites can be printed and mailed. We need to look into tuxes; flower and cake details are on the back burner ... Dress comes in in June. Need wedding rings, too, but those have to wait. Bah! This is so complicated. I'm holding down the fort, tho', because that's how I am.
I'm like pizza dough -- you can stretch it really, really thin until you get little rips in my sanity. Then I start drying out plastic cups with a towel and saying it looks like a horse. Whatever.
Okay, back to work.
